Port Canaveral’s Public Safety and Security team is dedicated to ensuring the safety of one of the world’s busiest cruise ports by overseeing law enforcement, emergency response and regulatory enforcement. From managing security checks and monitoring facilities to collaborating with agencies, our efforts create a secure environment for commerce, tourism, and the community. In case of emergencies, dial 911 immediately, and stay informed about severe weather by following local alerts. Collaborating to Ensure Safety and Security
Public Safety and Security works closely with partner agencies like Brevard County Sheriff's Office, Canaveral Fire Rescue, United States Coast Guard and Customs and Border Protection to ensure the safety and security of Port Canaveral. Together, they coordinate preparedness, response, and recovery, enforce regulations, and maintain vigilance, safeguarding personnel, visitors, and operational assets for the Port Community.
