Requirements
All Commercial vehicles must be registered and permitted by the Canaveral Port Authority in order to provide transportation services within the port. Fares MUST be pre-arranged and pre-paid. Transportation providers are prohibited from providing services without a permit.

Obtain a Permit

To obtain a Ground Transportation Permit at Port Canaveral, applicants must complete the online application form.

After submitting the form, vendors will receive a verification email within 24 hours confirming their application has been reviewed and approved. This email will include a hyperlink, username and password to complete the application process.

Insurance Requirements
Permit holders must carry and maintain comprehensive automobile liability insurance with a minimum limit of $1,000,000. Proof of coverage is required for each commercial vehicle requesting a permit decal. The insurance policy must list the “Canaveral Port Authority” as an additional insured.
