Each category has unique application requirements, including proof of insurance, with comprehensive details provided in the Tariff. Permits are valid for one calendar year, starting January 1, and associated fees are outlined in the fee schedule within the Tariff.

- Crane Service including Rentals and Heavy Lift Providers
- Cruise Ship Embarkation and Shore Services
- Mobile Fuel Vendor Landside - Petroleum and LNG
- Mobile Fuel Vendor Bunker Barge Service - Petroleum and LNG
- Waste Oil Disposal Service
- Sanitary Waste Removal Service
- Stevedoring Service
- Steamship Agency
- Franchise Steamship Agency - providing services for cruise vessels exceeding 20,000 GRT
- Security Services
- Tug Services
Exempt from Permit to Operate
- Entities whose sole function on the Port is to fulfill the requirements of U.S. government regulatory agencies.
- Canaveral Port Authority approved and retained vendors, their subcontractors and suppliers, while performing tasks under contract with the Canaveral Port Authority.
