“Ahoy!” Sustainability at the Port
Green Marine Certified
Green Marine promotes voluntary protection measures to continuously improve environmental performance. Certification is a rigorous process with the development of guiding principles beyond regulatory compliance in key areas. Port Canaveral is one of only three Florida ports to earn this certification and has achieved annual certification status since 2016. We actively collaborate with local organizations to foster positive relationships and contribute to regional development. At Port Canaveral, we believe that strong community ties are essential to our success and the well-being of our local area. Some of our community partners include the following: Keep Brevard Beautiful (KBB), Sea Turtle Preservation Society (STPS), Wild Florida Rescue, Florida Wildlife Hospital, Marine Resources Council, and many more!
