Summary Description: The Canaveral Port Authority is seeking firms interested in providing professional VENUE MANAGEMENT SERVICES associated with management services, concert promotions, food and beverages services, ticketing, show and event production, marketing, sales and sponsorships to support the staff at Port Canaveral. Venues to include a 7 story welcome center museum and adjacent amphitheater. The goal is to hire a venue management firm to oversee all aspects of operating both the amphitheater and the welcome center museum.

PUR-RFP-13-3 Freddie Patrick Park Boat Ramp Repairs (Design/Build)

Summary Description:
The Canaveral Port Authority is seeking proposals from qualified Design-Build Teams to design, engineer, permit and provide construction services (D/B) to repair the public boat ramps at Freddie Patrick Park (formerly Central Park) at Port Canaveral, Florida. The Request for Proposal (RFP) is a two step process.  Step 1 is a Qualifications and Short-Listing Proposal process, and Step 2 is a Price, Design, Technical and Schedule Proposal process. Participation in Step 2 will be limited to Step 1 Proposers who were successfully short-listed. Services will be acquired in compliance with the Consultants Competitive Negotiations Act, Florida Statutes 287.055.  Project budget is $500,000 (U.S. Dollars) not including alternates if any.
A selection committee meeting will be held on March 14, 2013 at 9:30 a.m. for the purpose of selecting a short list for STEP 2. This selection will be presented to the Canaveral Port Authority Board of Commissioners for approval at their regular March 2013 meeting. The selection committee meeting will be held in the Commissioner’s Meeting Room at the CPA offices, 445 Challenger Rd, Cape Canaveral, FL and will be open to the public.
